Each Show House depicts a different design solution. The living room design was a challenge given to us by the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. They were looking for a creative way to brighten the first floor walkway and we embraced this task by creating the first DreamHome design, which is now a bi-annual event. In one week we created a soothing urban space comprised of materials and furniture sold in the building. The breakfast room design employs layering for sophistication and depth, showcasing Philippine throne chairs. The dining room overlooking a beautiful scene in the hills, is enhanced with diamond molding within the ceiling - reflecting off the marble floor this adds an attractive detail.
Our 2008 DreamHome Terrace was a unique project, as we created an outdoor view completely within the walls of the Merchandise Mart. The space took shape through the creation of the architectural elements, leading into a design that naturally unfolded. A built-in fireplace and a charming seating area, with touches of bright hues, made this terrace a destination.
