A black-tie crowd of 170 tangoed and danced the conga under the shimmering stars of The Casino. They had good reason to celebrate: The first fundraiser for The Committee for Children with Disabilities of the Parkways Foundation raised $85,000 – enough to purchase equipment for three camps for children with disabilities in Chicago. Following a live auction, professional dancers performed and then gave lessons to the guests.
